Accommodations
Castle Venlaw, a Scottish luxury hotel, with 12 rooms each of
which is different. They have all been fully refurbished and
have full en-suite facilities. All the rooms are centrally heated
with thermostatically controlled radiators and have their own
tea and coffee making facilities as well as direct-dial telephone.
We have a pet friendly policy.
Our rooms all have remote control teletext television, a selection
of books and magazines and all enjoy magnificent views.
New for 2005 are our 2 romantic suites. These newly refurbished
rooms are the ultimate for a romantic break. Both rooms have
four poster beds and luxury bathrooms. In addition each room
has a second room featuring a double bath, heated tiles, fibre
optic lighting, music system and your personal Champagne cooler.
Both these rooms also have a DVD player.
Our deluxe rooms are all much
larger than our standard rooms and have better views.
Our 4 poster room, Glengoyne
(above), is always popular. This large room has a beautiful king
size four-poster bed and enjoys beautiful views in two different
directions.
The triple room and quad room
make the hotel ideal for families or adults travelling together.
Tucked away at the top of the tower is our family suite with
children's den.
This room is popular for families
and comprises Mum and Dad's room with bathroom and a door leading
off to the "children's den".
This den is equipped with bunk
beds, children's furniture, games, magazines and a TV and video.
If ever there was a magic place,
this is it. How often do children have a chance to play and sleep
in a Scottish castle tower? The furnishings are the right size
for them, the colours are bright and cheerful.
All our rooms are named after
malt whiskies and have a miniature of the appropriate malt in
a plaque in the door. Our guests enjoy a visit to the Library
where they will be able to sample the malt after which their
room is named. Just one more way in which Castle Venlaw Hotel
is that bit different...
