Things to Do
Dunbrody Cookery School
Dunbrody Cookery School has been designed to cater for all levels
of cooks, from budding enthusiasts to the experienced gourmet.
Due to popular demand to increase the number of available courses,
the Autumn/Winter programme will now be run in the dedicated
cookery school in the grounds of Dunbrody House instead of the
Main Hotel Kitchen as previously held.
Located opposite Dunbrody Country
House where the restaurant has received numerous awards the simple
philosophy of under-stated but delicious food follows on in the
Dunbrody Cookery School.
Under the care and guidance
of Masterchef Kevin Dundon, guests will learn the secrets of
producing fine food using only the best of quality Irish ingredients.
The emphasis at Dunbrody Cookery School is on freshness of ingredients
and utilising these to achieve fabulous dishes without the worry
of overly-complicated recipes.
Courses range from one day
demonstrations to one and two day courses. With groups of up
to ten we offer guests the chance to translate their enthusiasm
and love for food into the real skills needed to produce fantastic
food. Our belief is that cooking should be fun and our courses
are designed to be fun also.
Dunbrody Spa
This new facility offers a full service spa with individual treatments
as well as packages.
